The Learning Resource Center’s ABA Clinic provides a wide range of services and support for those individuals diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities and behavior difficulties. We also work with families, educators, and other caregivers.

The Learning Resource Center is dedicated to providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services of the highest quality. Our goal is to enable individuals the ability to achieve their full potential within their home, school and community by teaching adaptive skills and behavior.

Programs Customized by Need

Our programs begin with a comprehensive assessment to identify the child’s current level of functioning across a spectrum of critical domain areas. Understanding each individual’s learning needs, abilities, and interests is the first step in developing a treatment plan tailored to your child.

An initial assessment report with recommendations for goals and specific programming is presented, and services begin. Quarterly updates of goals are provided throughout the treatment program.

    • “LRC Saturday ABA Play Clinic” (Ages 3-8) – Our Play Clinic is designed to focus on different skill domains each week and is geared for children ages three through eight. Focus is on gross motor, fine motor, behavior, intraverbal skills, manding, tacting, language skills and social skills. We will accept Children into the program who have a diagnosis of autism, learning disability, Down’s Syndrome, and typical age appropriate peers whose parents desire an “inclusive” setting for their child.

    • “Friendship Club” - Social Skills Training (Ages 4-14) – Groups run in 12-week cycles after which participants can leave, new participants may join the group, or members may continue for the next 12-week cycle. The average participant attends for one year, with progress being noted by both home and school and after 12-24 weeks. Typically, children with better conceptual skills and those who practice see results soonest.

    Our goal for the social skills training program is to provide a safe environment where participants develop a sense of belonging and to teach skills lessons that cover, step by step, how to relate to others outside of our group. Our small groups are organized to allow time for both a structured lesson and to play or talk in a less structured, naturalistic setting, promoting generalization of skill. We will accept individual children into the program with varying abilities.

The Learning Resource Center is an approved provider for the following: TRICARE ECHO • Aetna • Medicaid

A deposit is required to reserve a functional assessment testing date with balance due once testing is completed.
